Hi, friends and family!
Things here are progressing well and we're working on a lot of little things.
People have started booking at hotels and if you are planning on coming, we encourage you to book early. When thinking about plans, remember to include time to tour the Biltmore Estate since every guest at the wedding receives a free ticket to tour the house and winery. Many people are staying until Monday (remember it's Labor Day so you likely have Monday off) and we're excited to spend that additional day together.
The weekend of the wedding, our dinner on Friday night will begin at 8pm and our brunch on Sunday morning will be rolling, from 10-12:30. Both are at the Bohemian.
We have started working on invitations and had a good time picking out the design, lettering, etc. We love the 3 ladies (and the dog) at "our" stationery store in Cary and appreciate their willingness to stay after hours while we finish making decisions!
We're very close to the bridesmaids ordering their dresses and the moms are beginning to shop for dresses as well. Karen's dress has arrived in Florida. A first fitting is forthcoming.
